Ellen's third running of the
Pensacola Marathon is now
over and she survived
(barely), braving tornado
watches and high
temperatures.  Her pit crew
succeeded in amusing some
runners, creeping out others
by appearing every three to
four miles along the route
and causing one marital
squabble (one runner
couldn't accept that he had
seen Ellen's pit crew five
times and not seen his wife
at all) . All in all, a great
time was had by all, except
maybe Ellen.

It was a week for the
unexpected.  In the mood for a
quick jog, Ellen decided 3
days before the start to
participate in the Flying Pig
marathon in Cincinatti.  With a
time of  5:01:55, she had a
nice leisurely jog and joined
the ranks of the Flying Pigs.
